Factors such as wind pressure and voicing style require adjustments to table below.
Each builder must use their own judgement.

It is highly recommended that customers purchase pallet valves directly from KADAK. Our valves are manufactured to work specifically with the KADAK direct action magnets. The valves are made from 1/4" high grade felt and high grade leather and sold at a cost that is possibly lower than they can be made by our customers. They are also each visually inspected to free from defects. Most importantly, they are the correct thickness to work with the KADAK direct action magnets. This is critical to their proper operation. They are also chemically treated to prevent sticking that may result from interaction between a wooden toeboard and leather. We can not guarantee proper operation of KADAK direct action magnets unless they are used with our pallet valves. This comes from experience. |
